Principal, Mr. Riemann, announced to the staff today that Sheikh Idrees Ul Hassan is leaving Playford College for 12 months for another project similar to our College but based in Melbourne. Sheikh further explained that he was invited and needed by the Melbourne community to look at the possibility of starting a school and he has accepted the invitation for 12 months. He added that he is happy and satisfied with the current progress of the Playford College and he is also very sad to leave. The Playford College Board, Staff and Leadership team are very sad that Sheikh is leaving in 3 weeks, immediately after Hajj Camp, but very grateful for his wonderful contributions.

The Deputy Principal, Mrs. Racha Makki also shared her feelings about his departure but she wished him every blessing. She also explained the reason of recording this message in the under-construction area of the old assembly hall, as it will be converted into four new classes in order to cater for the growing need of the College. She also informed that our new Foundation class will begin from tomorrow.

Mr. Riemann also commented about the excellent professional development training today for staff about social and emotional learning of students conducted by LIONS QUEST.
